I'm running 2000 km and a marathon in Sierra Leone to provide education to Ebola orphans in West Africa!
And the UK government is now matching your donations!
I am immensely lucky --- I was born healthy, and with a family who could love me and provide for me. Luck can overly generous. Luck can also be cruel. Children in West Africa who have lost parents to Ebola are victims of the cruel side of luck. It takes the kindness of lucky people to rectify this cruelty.
In 2015 I learned about an amazing charity called Street Child. I've looked through their reports --- the work that they do is effective and beautiful. Street Child provides education and psychological support to needy Ebola orphans in West Africa, and assists widowed mothers in setting up and managing sustainable businesses.
The people I've met through Street Child have inspired me to take on my own challenge, so here goes...
Over the first 20 weeks of 2016 I will be running over 2000 km in locations across the globe, culminating in the Sierra Leone marathon. Join me to make the world a fairer place.
