On the 29th of May my feet ran their way through the villages of beautiful Sierra Leone. 26.2 miles in the west African heat and humidity were more than worth it in order to help the incredible individuals that Street Child support. From implementing educational structures for the future generations of rural communities, to giving girls a powerful voice, enabling them to champion their rights to an education, and equal rights overall.
Essentially, it's impossible to pin point the good enacted by Street Child, and those who came to run. But I'm so very grateful to have been a part of it, and miraculously manage a bronze for the ladies on my way.
Until 17th July all donations will be doubled by the UK Government so your donations will help twice as many children.
